Home Again.

We arrived safely back to Sioux Falls on Wednesday night. Samantha did really well flying. (Although there's always those that don't enjoy children, especially on planes.) It was definitely a chore flying with her... and being pregnant. Lift this, fold the stroller, unfold the stroller, change a diaper, feed her in the crowded terminal... on and on. The worst was when she decided to fill her diaper on the airplane... it's not easy changing a diaper in those tiny "lavatories."

Samantha is 9 months old today! I can't believe how much she's grown. I was going through mountains of her clothing today, sorting them for when Maggie arrives... it's insane how small she was... and how small the onesies are for newborns!

I had an OB appointment yesterday. Things weren't what I expected... I'm gaining too much weight- all water weight. I'm swollen like a wet sponge, and feel as if I'm the size of a VW bus! Maggie's heartrate is good, although my fundus measurements were smaller than expected. At first, Maggie was growing quite quickly and the due date kept changing, now she's slowing down. I have an ultrasound next Thursday to make sure things are okay with Maggie, and to see how I'm progressing. There's a chance that all the medicines I was given in the hospital and triage could have affected Maggie's growth.

Here is a picture of Samantha and I today... my little 9 month old is getting SO BIG! (Just like my feet! HA!)
