Sigh.

I'm sitting here, midnight has come, 12 past actually... and I wonder, will the words come out this time?

*Sigh.* Nope. Still not ready.

I had an unexpected call from a friend tonight. I smiled.

I smiled earlier when I made a necklace and bracelet for a friend. Just because. Because she's listened to my crazy. Because she made me feel like a friend. And then I laughed. I was going to make it a surprise. But I've already told her it's on its way.

Samantha wants to see Cars 2. Maybe next weekend. "Mommy, we need to see it. And we need to eat popcorn." Her "need" came out "neeeeeeeeeeeeeed."

I asked Maggie if she wanted to get anything for Jason and Casie's baby, due in October. "NOOOOOO!" She yelled. I explained, it's not a new baby for our house. It's another cousin. "Ohhhh!," she explained. I asked "what color do you want to buy clothes for the new baby?" I knew the answer... "Blue!" Samantha interrupted the conversation with, "No, pink! Because Sammy likes pink!" I don't think either one get that pink is typically for a girl, and blue for a boy. Maggie knows her colors, but only expresses two through words: blue and red. Progress. Slowly but surely.

Gavin is crawling. He's 10 months old. And for once, I'm okay with that. I don't want them to be teenagers any time soon. But things would be easier with a little more age on them.

I looked at websites in Georgia for new dogs for my dad. Now, I think Elphie needs her Fiyero. Ok, not really. But the Boston Terrier puppies I saw did tug at my heart strings. I am liking a one animal household.

I saw something today. Online. And it has my curiousity peeked, to say the least. It was a voila type of moment. I think I'm right about something. Something I've been curious about for almost 10 years. And now I think I have photographic proof. The thing is, I'll never ask for the truth. I'll continue wondering.

I did this last week. This was me at 1 year, and Gavin at 9 months. I think he's mine. :)

12:23 am. Sleep, please come.
