Samantha starts preschool next Thursday.
Time, slow down.
She's four. And acts like she's 16 somedays.
We went shopping for her uniforms.
She'll be a little Catholic school girl.
She'll be a little Catholic school girl.
"Mommy, there's NO pink on these!"
Uniformity is very bizarre to me. Especially for 4 year olds.
I have a feeling she'll be wearing a pink bow every day.
School is only from 8-11 each day.
But that's 3 hours without my first born.
*Sigh*
I worry that she won't fit in.
Or that she'll be bossy.
Or that she'll bully the other kids.
Or that she'll bully the other kids.
Or even that she's so popular, that there's a kid out there that doesn't fit in.
I never fit in.
I have always hoped that my kids would be nice to everyone, like I strive to do.
I hope that Samantha tries to find something about every child that she can relate to, or learn about.
Here's to the future of field trips, birthday parties, and new adventures.
I'm glad Samantha is ready.
Maybe by next Thursday, I will be, too.
Melissa
