21 Days & Counting...

In 21 days, it will be June 2.
In 21 days, I will be in pain.
In 21 days, a miracle will arrive.
In 21 days, my life will change again forever.
In 21 days, Margaret Kathryn (Maggie) will be here.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
That is, if all goes as planned. I went to my 34 week OB appointment today. Had an ultrasound. She's growing 12 days faster than her due date. So, Dr. Landeen laid out the plan... as long as she keeps "baking" on June 1, I'll have an amniocentisis (which I'm freaking out about), and if all is well with Maggie's lung function, bright and early Tuesday, June 2, I'll be induced.
So for the next 21 days, I'll be in a panic. I'm not nearly as prepared for Maggie as I was for Samantha. She won't have her own room until at least sometime this summer. At this time with Sam, my bags were already packed for the hospital. Now I'm hoping the stuff I want to take will be clean on June 2! My Sam is in Georgia with my parents... they should be back next Monday. So I'll have those does to enjoy one kid parenting... with a lot of help. However, this entire pregnancy has been plagued with me thinking of how much Samantha is going to spite us for having another one so soon. And now I know I'm going to stress over that thought for, you guessed it, 21 days.
