Falling for Fall.

I think the fall weather is here, for good. I hope! Well, fall weather until probably the middle of October or beginning of November. That's when we had snow last year. November 7th!

I love autumn.... the temperatures, the sound of crunching leaves, pumpkins, sunflowers, sleeping with the windows open.... and going to all the different fall activities!
This weekend was nice. We went to the Apple Festival in Harrisburg. We went last year, and decided to try for another family picture photo op. Of course there's always one that's not looking at the camera!
Samantha had a lot of fun playing in the hay... they have a huge structure, entirely made of hay. All the kiddos were walking around it, jumping off of it, etc... but Samantha decided to be stubborn and just sit and throw it everywhere. (Don't you just love her pigtails?!)

Maggie is changing everyday. She's much more awake during the day. She rolls over all the time... and now, we definitely have to watch when she's on the couch. The other day I heard a little whimper, and found her dangling off the couch.... yikes!!! She loves "talking." She'll literally goo and coo for hours, especially when you talk back to her goos and coos. Adorable!

My parents will be here Friday! We are going out to the Black Hills on Sunday for a week! This will be Brandon's first PAID vacation since we got married! Nice! We are definitely looking forward to it. We've now lived in South Dakota for 7 years, and I haven't been west of Sioux Falls!
