Ketchup.

A mama tomato and a baby tomato were walking down the road.... the baby tomato started falling behind... the mama tomato slapped the baby and said "KETCHUP!"

... Catch up, what I'm doing!

My amazing parents were here for a few weeks. They took Brandon, the kids, and myself out to the Black Hills for a much needed, week long vacation. While we were there, we saw Mount Rushmore, a Buffalo Round Up at Custer State Park, toured Deadwood, enjoyed the mountains, and had just an overall splendid time.

This is me and Wild Bill Hickock in Deadwood. He came back to life for the picture! Ha! It was my birthday, and my family thought it appropriate to volunteer me to participate in the reenactment of Wild Bill's death..... yeah, I'm dressed like a hooker. Nice! I think the guy playing Wild Bill lives as Wild Bill... as in never gets out of character!

Here are the girls on my birthday at the cabin... my Irish Twins! Maggie is at an adorable age, where she smiles at everything, and is starting to giggle. Samantha is always learning, our little sponge.

Here we are as a family at the Buffalo Round Up. It was a beautiful day, but definitely dusty with all the buffalo and wind. Samantha had a great time looking at the buffalo on Grandpa Joel's lap, but everytime one got too close to the fence, she definitely backed up!
We are now home, and my parents are slowly making their way back to Georgia, after a quick stop in Wisconsin to visit my dad's childhood friend, Steve. We woke up yesterday morning to snow in Sioux Falls... enough to cover the ground, but not enough to last. It melted by the evening.
Samantha is all bundled up for the cold weather!
Maggie had her 4 month check up on Thursday. She now weighs 16.7 lbs and is 26 3/4 inches long. She's in the 95th percentile for both height and weight. Big girl! She was approved for starting solids, which we tried for the first time yesterday.... Green Beans are not a favorite... but the only thing she'll be trying this week!
