I knew that the PPD could be more difficult with Maggie, and chances are will increase if we ever decide and plan to have any more children. I never imagined feeling some of the things I feel though. It's really getting difficult.
I thought I was having an asthma attack a week ago. It started Sunday night, and I wasn't able to breathe all of the night. Monday morning, very early, I called ask-a-nurse to see what else I could do. Their suggestion was to go to the ER. My mother-in-law took me in... and they said it was a severe panic attack. I was breathing so shallowly that I had too much carbon dioxide in my blood. I was given a paperbag to slow my breathing down. I wonder how much the ER is going to charge for the paper bag! Then I was sent home with a different perscription for an increase on my adavant.
I hate being medicated. I hate even more yelling at my kids. They don't know any better (Well, Sam does in most situations) and it's not fair to them.... but I just can't handle things lately.
Ok, now it's time for positive, uplifting things... no more Debbie Downer. Did you see the post prior to this one of Maggie bouncing in her bouncer? She's getting reallllllllly good at it!
Our Anniversary- 12/17/09
We ended up going to Outback, renting a movie, and going to bed early since the girls were at my inlaws. Dinner was fantastic! It was nice to actually take the time to do my hair for once!
"I stole the cookie from the cookie jar!"
Samantha is really enjoying all the holiday goodies. She especially loves oatmeal cookies! We are looking forward to next Christmas when Samantha can start "helping" with the baking. We're pretty much going to start holiday traditions next year, since the girls don't really have any idea what's going on.
Maggie and her teething biscuit..... makes such a mess, but she loves them!
She has two teeth, on the bottom, and I think there's one trying to come through on top. She's been very cranky... there have been many "Maggie Meltdowns" and nothing really seems to help the pain. We tried baby orajel, but then she couldn't suck on her bottle or keep any strained food in her mouth. And she was still cranky (probably due to being hungry). So, for now, it's just baby tylenol, and hopes that the pain will ease very soon!
Brandon calls Samantha our little bomber.
Grandma Bonnie got Samantha & Maggie matching hats. The bomber hat is a bit big on Maggie, but seems to work well for Samantha. She loves when we get her coat, shoes, and hat out... she immediately wants to go to the car. Always up for an adventure, I suppose!
Trying to get a shot of the chompers, but to no avail.
Her shirt says "good things come in small packages!"
