... Crazy, what-the-heck-are-you-doing, mommy stare.
You know the one that gets your children to stop whatever naughty thing they were doing immediately, and sends a chill up their spine? Yup, that's the one.
I've been dishing out a lot of these stares lately. I don't know if it's the cold weather, that keeps us cooped up inside that is causing the kiddos to misbehave, or if they just simply find pleasure in it. But either way, it's insane.
Introducing Boc. The miracle of the Jacobs household.
My mom's friend started the Elf on the Shelf tradition with her grandkids, and told my mom about it... so Boc was introduced (and named) to our family on November 27, and he is working!
Every day, the kiddos look for where Boc is sitting, watching over them, and each night, he returns home to the North Pole and reports to Santa about the kids behavior. Then Boc returns home, and finds a new place to rest and watch.
Boc has cut down on a lot of my mommy stares. The kiddos start to misbehave, and all we have to say is "Boc is watching!"
Boc returns home for the year on Christmas Eve. We wish he could stay all year long... :)
