Samantha and Maggie love to grab anything that writes, and anything they can draw on, including walls (GAH!) and go at it. It's never anything recognizable to an adult eye, but they always describe what they have drawn, and are always very, very proud of whatever it is they've put on *hopefully* paper!
Today, Samantha sat in my lap and drew the following... and I am SO very, very proud, because I can actually recognize what everything is, and there are shapes on the paper... and it's just.... well, WOW! (It also helps that she drew characters from the Wizard of Oz, haha.)
What we have here is from L to R... Dorothy with Pigtails. The Wicked Witch, complete with her hat. Samantha gave her a smile because "everyone should be happy!", and finally a self portrait, in which she gave herself a witch hat, and Dorothy slippers. :)
