Today's show us your life from Kelly's Korner, is favorite books growing up.
I think there must have been something strangely wrong with me as a child... because my favorite books were by Lurlene McDaniel... what did she write? Books about kids with terminal illnesses. Yup. That's right folks! I liked to read about kids suffering with cancer or other illnesses, hoping that they find their love before it all ends. I think a shrink would have a hay-day with this revelation!
But never fear, my mom had a garage sale last year, and sold all of these books to a woman who liked them as a child as well... so I'm not the only strange cookie out there! I've progressed to like mysteries about murder instead. I think I need my head examined! :)

I would imagine books like that would be full of hope for a young woman going through a serious illness. Thanks for sharing.
