Easter Weekend.

Everyone is sick.

Coughing. Runny Noses.

But, we still managed to have some fun this past Easter weekend!

We went to the Sertoma Butterfly House & their new "aquarium."
(I put that lightly... it's really just a bunch of fish tanks.)

After this, mommy & daddy went to meet with the Easter Bunny to discuss Easter gifts...

Easter Morning.

The kids had rough nights sleeping.

But were still up verrrry early, and were excited about their Easter Baskets...

& their mom's crazy idea to get a new critter.

Introducing.... "Cheese" The guinea pig!

He is our Easter "Elf on the Shelf."

He reports to the Easter Bunny about their behavior.

"What should we name our guinea pig?"

Sam: "I know, CHEESE!"

Maggie: "Yeah, Cheese!"

... he will forever be known as Cheese.

Now, back to more failed picture attempts... :)

My mom made the kids' Easter outfits.

We headed to the deck to take pictures... and this is what we got:

So inside we headed, to try this again...

We didn't get to church. The kids' noses were dripping, their attitudes were awful, and no one felt well.

We did go to their grandparents' house for Easter dinner...

& they played outside... and had dirt colored snot before the day was through.

They went to bed early, and woke up- still coughing.
