Ten on Tuesday.

Tuesday has arrived again. Here's another attempt at 10 random things about my life lately!

1. Couponing success this weekend! Ok, so it's nearly impossible to be a crazy couponer like on tv, because Sioux Falls doesn't have the stores necessary to do it, and the stores here don't double coupons, ever. SOOOO, I'll get what I can. This weekend, at Target, the detergent I use was on sale for $6.50. This is ammmmmazing. Plus, I had printed off a bunch of Target coupons from their website, and one was for $2.00 off my detergent. Soooo, $4.50 for the detergent I use... plus my mom had sent me a 5% off your entire purchase shopping pass... WOO! I also got lemonade mix for 97 cents, and diapers for around $7 off. When it was all said and done, I saved almost $18!

2. Goodwill. So, I usually steer clear of Goodwill. It smells. The people are in dire need of showers. And it usually requires a lot of searching, because nothing is in size order, like my favorite thrift store, Savers. However, the last two weekends have been a success for kids clothes. Brand new GAP jammies for $2. I stocked up. It was awesome. (Ha, it's the little things lately!)

3. I need to make jewelry.

4. Gavin fell at his grandparents house, on the hard concrete. Needless to say, his nose and upper lip are a little swollen and scratched up. Neosporin, miracle cream.

5. My grandma turned 92 on Sunday! Samantha sang her a version of Happy Birthday, and promptly took a bow on Skype.

6. Maggie has successfully used the potty every day. Not every time she needs to go, but she does sometimes sneak in and use it herself. Maybe she'll be potty trained before I know it. Maybe not. Either way, it's all up to when she's ready.

7. Samantha kept using a play knife to "cut" hair... mine, Gavin's... It hurt. I told her to only do it on dolls, not people.
     Sam: "Dolls are people, too."

     Me: "Real, live, breathing humans."
Sam: "My dolls are real to me."
     Me: "Do they breathe?"
Sam: "Yes, Mommy. I pretend they do, so they are real, live, breathing humans to me."

8. While playing with princess toys:

Sam: "Eugene! You are not allowed in my bed! I sleep alone!" (I hope she has the same feelings when she starts dating.)

Then panic set in...

Maggie: "Mic Mouse sweeps with Min Mouse. They snug. (Snuggle)" (I don't know where this came from, but it better go away before dating begins.)

9. While playing house:
Sam: "I'm going to be the mommy, because I'm the bestest at saying 'KIIIIIIIIDS, put your toys away! and Mommy says I can drive her crazy, so I'll drive the pretend car!"

10. 29 days until OotM World Finals!!

Happy Tuesday!
Melissa
