* "Daddy, we're picking on you, because Grandpa Joel isn't around to pick on!"
* Sam: "Mommy, when you clean and mop, I get a cold."
Me: "Oh, why is that?"
Sam: "Cause, you get all serious, and it gets all clean, and we have to keep it that way. That's no fun."
Me: "Well, it can't be messy all the time."
Sam: "Yeah, so I pretend, I mean, I really get sick so that you have to stop."
Me: "Ha, secret's out Sammy girl!"
Sam: Starts coughing. "No, Mommy I'm sick! You have to hold me! Put the mop down NOOOOOOOOW!"
* Maggie: "I go on a date! Manta you no go on a date!" (Sticks tongue out!)
So she did... with Mommy to Disney Live!
* Maggie: "Mom, of ooo. Dank ooo." (Translation: Mom, Love you. Thank you.) Followed by a hug.This was after her bath. She snuck into my room while I was putting laundry away. Out of nowhere. I asked if she had fun on our date, and she said yes. Grinned, and then ran away. Warmed my heart.
*A conversation between Samantha and Maggie regarding the garbage man...
Maggie: "Manta, you man be here! Go say hi and blow kisses!"
Sam: "No, I want a tramp."
Maggie:(disappointed) "oh. I say hi then?"
Sam: "No. You're too little."
* Samantha discussing her microphone:
Sam: "Mommy, I found my microphone!"
Me: "Yay!!! But I think it's out of batteries. We'll have to get some."
Sam: "We don't need batteries. Just imagination, and my beautiful voice! Do we have imagination? CHECK! Do we have my beautiful voice? Lalalalala! CHECK!"
* Samantha and her latest boyfriend:
Sam: "Mommy, I'm going to love Tramps!"
Me: "Tramps, huh? Why is that?"
Sam: "Look at the adventures Lady got to go on. And she had cute babies."
* Samantha and logical thinking:
"Mom, you know when the Beast becomes a human, and says "Belle, it's me? He should really be more pacific and say his name. Cause he can't really be Beast anymore since he's a big human."
* On Gavin's Haircut
Sam: "It's about time. He was starting to look adiculous."
